Webinar Children and Social Media, or How to Help Parents

11 December at 18:00

Your kid is always on the phone: videos, chats, reels… She compares herself to bloggers, dreams of the “perfect life”, and gets frustrated when no one comments on her posts or when they get few likes.
We often don’t fully understand that this hides anxiety, insecurity, and risks.
We invite parents, caregivers, psychologists, and educators to a webinar “Children and Social Media, or How to Help Parents”, where we will discuss the real challenges of social media and how different content affects a child’s self-esteem, emotions, and behaviour.

📌 We will discuss the following:
• Why children compare themselves to bloggers and how this affects their emotions.
• What risks exist online and how to explain them to children in a simple and clear way.
• How to gradually establish rules for using a phone without conflict.
• How to support children when they are upset about their visibility on social media, comments or content.
